This location gives us immediate access to the Rocky Mountains and to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Our central location along the eastern slopes makes us ideal for fire fighting, seismic, tourism and other activities in this vast wilderness. Alhambra, Alberta, Canada Ahlstrom Air's second base is located about 45 minutes west of Red Deer, just off highway 11 in the hamlet of Alhambra. This location allows easy access to central Alberta and to all of the major centres.
